The Angry Video Game Nerd is the titular character and name of the series of Internet video farcical retrogaming video game reviews by James D. Rolfe, that airs on the GameTrailers website. The show's premise involves a character's over-the-top rants against particularly bad video games. The series began as a feature on YouTube, and later joined ScrewAttack Entertainment, which would later have three of its features, including AVGN, transferred to GameTrailers exclusively. The series' theme song's music was written by Kyle Justin with lyrics by both Justin and Rolfe.

The titular Nerd character is an ill-tempered and foul-mouthed video game fanatic. He derives comic appeal from his loud New Jersey accent, his both excessive and inventive use of profanity, and his heavy drinking of Rolling Rock and Yuengling to "soothe the pain.". A particular characteristic are his favorable comparisons of extremely repulsive and painful, usually firmly scatological, acts to playing the game. Varying amounts of physical comedy is mixed into the verbal abuse.

The series began in May 2004 with two short films created and put on Cinemassacre.com. In 2006, the videos were put on YouTube under the name of "Angry Nintendo Nerd". He later changed the name to "Angry Video Game Nerd" to prevent copyright issues. Along with the name change, the Nerd soon diversified, reviewing games on other platforms such as the Atari 2600, Nintendo Entertainment System, Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Sega Master System, and the Sega Genesis. Along with reviewing games, some episodes have featured other video game-related items, such as the Power Glove, the Sega CD, the Sega 32X, as well as a movie review of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III and a tribute to Nintendo Power magazine.

I couldn't find a rip of this anywhere which is why I made one myself.I made this rip for those with standalone divx players or slower connection who want to enjoy this in higher quality than you get from streaming it without having to download the entire dvd.This is my very first DVD rip so if their is anything I need to improve on please let me know in a constructive manner.And BTW I know the filesizes on some of the files are pretty big considering their length,but, whenever i compressed them by more than 50% of their original size the quality was pretty bad.If you download this please say thanx as I spent alot of time ripping and uploading them.

I know Iit took a whi;e to get disc 2 up and i'm sorry for that but life got in the way enjoy what's probably the only rip of the AVGN DVD on the net. And again please say thanx if you download
